Privacy Policy — Pulse D2D App

Sharif Technologies, Inc. · Effective Date: September 2, 2026 · Applies to the Pulse D2D mobile applications (iOS and Android) and the Pulse web portal.

Sharif Technologies, Inc. ("Sharif Technologies," "we," "our," or "us") provides Pulse D2D, a business software platform used by solar sales organizations and their authorized personnel ("users") to manage field sales operations. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Pulse D2D applications collect, how it is used, and the choices available to you. It complies with applicable U.S. federal and state law, Canadian PIPEDA, and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable. For our general corporate privacy policy covering consumer solar services, see shariftech.com/privacy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

Location information

Foreground location: when you grant location permission, the app uses your device's precise location to display the territory canvassing map, show nearby properties, and attach coordinates to leads you create.

Background location (optional): Pulse D2D includes an optional team-location feature that, when enabled by you, collects precise location in the background — including when the app is closed or not in use — to share your location with your organization's managers during field work. This feature is off by default, activates only after an explicit in-app disclosure and your consent, and can be turned off at any time in the app's settings. Location history collected by this feature is visible only to authorized managers within your organization.

Connected calendars (optional)

What we read: if you choose to connect a calendar — Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook / Microsoft 365, a calendar subscription (iCal/webcal) address, or your device's calendar on iOS or Android — Pulse D2D reads only the start and end times of your existing events so the app can show when you are available and avoid double-booking. We do not read, store, or display the titles, descriptions, attendees, or locations of events on your personal calendar.

What we write: if you select a calendar to receive your appointments, Pulse D2D creates, updates, and cancels only the appointment events it created, on the calendar you chose. Homeowners and prospective customers are never added as attendees on your calendar; any confirmations they receive come directly from Pulse D2D.

Your control: connecting a calendar is optional and off by default. Calendar access credentials are encrypted at rest and are never shared or sold. You can disconnect a calendar at any time in Settings, which deletes the stored credential; you may also revoke Pulse D2D's access from your Google or Microsoft account settings.

Pulse D2D's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Content you and your organization create

Automatically collected information

Face ID / biometric unlock is processed entirely on your device by the operating system; biometric data never leaves your device and is never accessible to us.

2. How We Use Information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use data collected through the app for advertising.

3. How We Share Information

We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing or advertising. Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent are never sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing. We run two separate text programs with separate opt-ins — customer care messages, which you join on our Contact Customer Care form, and marketing messages, which you join on our Book a Demo form; consent to one is not consent to the other, and consent is never a condition of purchase. See our SMS Terms.

4. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS and encrypted at rest by our cloud infrastructure. Access is restricted by role-based permissions, organization-level data isolation, and authenticated sessions. We maintain audit trails of data access and changes. See our Data Protection notice for more detail.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain data for as long as your organization maintains an active account with us, and as needed to comply with legal obligations. When you leave an organization, your account is deactivated by its administrator. You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below or by asking your organization's administrator; we will honor verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law, except where retention is legally required (for example, audit records).

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw consent for optional features (such as background location and connected calendars, which you can disable in the app at any time). United States residents: we honor applicable state privacy rights, including the CCPA/CPRA. Canadian residents: we comply with PIPEDA. EU/EEA residents: we process personal data under the GDPR, and you may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. To exercise any right, contact us using the information below.

7. Children's Privacy

Pulse D2D is a business tool for working professionals. It is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Effective Date above reflects the latest revision, and material changes will be posted on this page.
